Dr. Medrano is co-medical director of Innovative Primary Care on Ashland Avenue in Lincoln Park. She is a board-certified family medicine physician with experience in women’s health, general primary care, LGBTQI+ health and more. Dr. Medrano also has a strong interest in aesthetic medicine, and recently started working with Innovative MedSpa to offer PDO thread lifts. A PDO thread lift is a minimally invasive, non-surgical procedure that can produce results similar to a facelift. It is an alternative to surgery that offers long-lasting results. Mila has had her own wellness business for over 15 years specializing in whole foods nutrition and yoga therapy for all ages. She believes a natural youthfulness and glow begins on the inside with a healthy body, mind, and spirit. She was easily drawn to the esthetics world of helping others achieve their most beautiful self-inside and out, so was eager to add medical esthetician and laser technician to her skillset to make that happen. She will be offering a range of esthetic services, including customized facials, chemical peels and hydrafacials for all skin concerns, laser hair removal, IPL, and microneedling.
Mila is a Chicago native but also lived in California for many years. She is a proud mother of 2 girls and 2 boys and loves spending time with them in the city and traveling. She also enjoys yoga, ballet, biking, hiking, and tennis.

Jennie has been a nurse for 24 years and has been an aesthetic nurse injector since 2019. Before finding her passion as a Nurse Injector, Jennie specialized in emergency medicine; where she developed her deep values regarding safety and patient education as well as her keen eye for detail. A few of the reasons Jennie chose nursing as her career; was first, above all, to help others with both their physical and mental well being. She also was intrigued with all of the sub-specialties the profession had to offer. Although emergency nursing has given Jennie the opportunity to help many patients, sharpened many of her technical skills, given her a steady hand, a calming nature and given her unsurpassed assessment and organizational skills; she had forgotten about her intrigue for the different ways people can be helped.
As Jennie herself has gotten older and more mature, she has realized that one’s self esteem is often held in the way they view themselves. An enriched sense of self esteem tends to positively affect all aspects of life. This is what drew Jennie to another specialty within the medical field, her interest and passion for aesthetics. Jennie was trained by Jessica Jurkovic an expert and natural in the field. Jennie is very excited to continue and grow her love for helping people in her new field. Jennie is committed to aging gracefully, bringing a positive outlook to all aspects of life by combining beauty, health and fitness to achieve a positive mental and physical well-being. She looks forward to helping others along this journey with her.

Jenn Hattan MSN, RN is an aesthetic nurse injector with 10 years of nursing experience. After obtaining her Master’s Degree from Rush University College of Nursing, Jenn became a clinical instructor at Rush while also working as a staff nurse in pediatrics and women’s health. Jenn has a strong interest in aesthetics and has spent the last couple of years building her skill set. She is certified in neurotoxins and dermal fillers and works with patients to highlight their natural beauty. Jenn’s careful attention to detail and her appreciation for beauty in all forms guide her approach to patient care.

Bee received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Purdue University, where she graduated with highest honors. She first began her nursing career as a Registered Nurse working on a post-surgical unit where she first discovered her passion for surgery and procedures. She then went on to work as an outpatient clinical nurse for one of the top bariatric and general surgeons in Chicago. Bee has always been excited about the aesthetic industry and believes in a proactive and preventative approach to aging. She loves working with patients to create natural results that make them feel confident and excited to look in the mirror each day. Bee is a Chicago native who enjoys spending time with her fiancé and her two goldendoodles, Maddon and Louie.
Carlee Contreras is a licensed esthetician and a certified laser technician. Carlee struggled with acne during her teen and young adult years, which taught her the importance of skincare and led her to a career in the beauty industry. Carlee enjoys helping clients achieve healthy and vibrant skin that leaves them feeling confident. She believes that a good home care regimen, along with regular skincare treatments, is key to achieving superb results. Carlee offers hydrafacials, chemical peels, laser hair removal, IPL and more. When she is not at work, you’ll likely find Carlee snuggled up with her dogs or at the gym.

Rahul Khare, MD is the founder and medical director of Innovative MedSpa. He is the owner of Innovative Care, a trusted group of medical practices in Chicago, that offers primary care, urgent care, therapy and specialty services. Khare opened Innovative MedSpa in 2018 with his former colleague Jessica Jurkovic, RN, BSN serving as the Clinical Director. He is pleased to help people look and feel their best and is committed to the highest level of patient safety and satisfaction. Innovative MedSpa uses state of the art equipment and proudly offers the best equipment and techniques available in the cosmetic skincare industry.

Kenny Kravitz is a Licensed Aesthetician and Laser Technician with a passion for skincare. As a young teen, Kenny struggled with severe acne that deeply affected his confidence. He was inspired by the professionals that helped him overcome acne and build his self esteem. Kenny is now devoted to helping his clients discover their own confidence. Outside of the aesthetics room you can find Kenny working as a part time floral designer. He is also an avid concert attendee, and biking enthusiast (when the weather allows).

Sanja Harvey has been a nurse for over 15 years, working primarily in emergency medicine and nursing administration. While the fast pace of those environments can be exciting, Sanja enjoys being able to step back and spend time with her aesthetic patients. She begins by discussing their goals and takes pride in helping each client feel more confident in their own skin. Sanja makes it a priority to create a personalized treatment plan that achieves a fresh, natural look. When she is not working at Innovative MedSpa, she enjoys reading, hiking, traveling and spending time with family.

Amy has been an esthetician since 2001. She has spent her career working in upscale Chicago spas and medspas, having her own skincare business in Denver, and just recently back to Chicago to join our Innovative team. She loves the continuous education that comes along with our ever-changing industry and is always ready to share her knowledge. Skincare is an all year, every day job for all of us and she has the knowledge to pair with experience to bring you the best in skincare products and treatments. Client commitment and trust is her favorite part of being an esthetician and always has the best outcome for results. While not working, she likes to make sure her daughter and Golden-doodle are living their best lives.

After working on the operations side of the aesthetics industry for 5 years, Kayla realized she wanted to be fully hands on in the treatment room. She loved to enhance the environment of her staff but wanted to learn how to treat the clients. Chemical Peels are not only her favorite treatment to perform, but also to receive. Kayla herself has dealt with acne as a teenager and still struggles with acne prone skin. Her passion is getting her clients comfortable in their own skin and making sure they see the results they desire.

Brooke has been a nurse in Chicago for the past 6 years and has been working the trauma bay in the ER at the University of Chicago for the past 3. Because of the intensity of her profession, she has always made self-care a top priority. Not only are injectables something she loves and uses for her own confidence, but it has also become a passion for her, in the career sense as well. Making clients happy and enhancing natural beauty is her ultimate goal. With her experience in having to remain calm in chaos – you can rest assured that she’s got you!

With a compassionate and patient focused mindset, Meredith is excited to be a part of the Innovative Medspa team while also currently working as one of their primary care providers. Meredith is from Phoenix, AZ and has over 14 years of experience in the medical field. Graduating Magna Cum Laude, Meredith obtained her Bachelors & Masters of Science in Nursing at Grand Canyon University. While working in primary care, Meredith’s passion for aesthetics led her into training for advanced cosmetic injections, as well as Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) treatments.
Meredith focuses on preventative and restorative treatments with a goal of helping each patient achieve a natural fresh look. Understanding the importance of listening to client’s concerns, Meredith takes the time to develop patient-specific plans of care and thoroughly explain them to ensure both provider and client are on the same page. When she’s not working at Innovative, Meredith can be found riding her bike around town, working out or reading for an expanding number of book clubs.

Vanessa DiCristofano, BSN-RN is our first mobile Botox injector here at Innovative Med spa. Vanessa has been a nurse for 3 years and has worked previously in a plastic surgeon’s office spiking her interest in the aesthetic aspect of nursing. She completed her certification for injections in January 2018 and has been injecting ever since. Vanessa began her career here in January 2019, and she specializes in utilizing Botox & Dysport products and Kybella treatments. Vanessa aims to develop a long-lasting rapport with her patients and to educate and provide her patients with the tools needed to reach their aesthetic goals. Vanessa schedules time with her clients as an as needed basis allowed quick and convenient treatments for patients with busy schedules. She also hosts a number of Botox parties to allow the opportunity for preventative and cosmetic treatments to be done in a comfortable and enjoyable environment. Vanessa is passionate about her field and loves to help her patients obtain beautiful and lasting results.

Kelly has been a licensed cosmetologist for 20 years. She started her career in the industry working in an upscale salon and upon working in the field she expanded her expertise to include skincare and laser therapy. She is passionate about helping her clients to have the best skin of their lives. She offers customized treatment plans tailored to the needs of each individual. Her services include, laser hair removal, IPL photofacials, laser skin resurfacing, customized facials, treatment masks, and chemical peels, microneedling, and PRP. She is your go-to for all things skincare from general skin concerns to more complicated issues such as rosacea, melasma, acne, acne scars, folliculitis, and much more. She is also available for concierge services.

Jessica has nearly 20 years of nursing experience and serves as the Clinical Director of Innovative MedSpa. She started her career at Northwestern Medicine, working in both the emergency department and as a perioperative nurse. It was there that she discovered her passion for the aesthetic industry and advanced her training in medical and aesthetic injections. Jessica specializes in neuromodulators (Botox, Dysport), dermal fillers (Juvederm, Volbella, Voluma), lasers, and regenerative medicine such as PRP (platelet rich plasma).
